What should I do if I have already left Indonesia and haven’t processed an EPO?

If you left Indonesia without completing the EPO (Exit Permit Only) process, your KITAS remains open in the immigration system, and your exit is not properly registered.

To correct this, you must apply for a MERP (Multiple Exit and Re-entry Permit). This allows immigration to formally close your previous KITAS and restore your legal status.

Once the MERP is issued, your KITAS can be closed correctly, and you can avoid complications with future visa applications.
