Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to get the visa for our clients?
Which visa for Indonesia do I need?
For visits of up to 60 days, an e-Visa on Arrival is sufficient. It allows travel for tourism (B1), business trips or meetings (B2), and medical visits (B3). If you plan to stay longer than 60 days, a single-entry tourist visa (C1) is the best option, as it allows stays of up to 180 days.
If you plan to visit Indonesia multiple times within a year, a multiple-entry visa for tourism (D1) or business (D2) may be a better option. These visas are valid for one year and allow stays of up to 180 days per visit.
It’s important to note that none of these visas allow you to work in Indonesia. Recently, the remote work visa (E33G), often referred to as the “digital nomad visa,” has gained popularity. It allows you to live in Indonesia while working remotely for a foreign company.
If you are seeking visa options for extended stays, please don't hesitate to contact us or visit our website at .
How much does an Indonesia visa cost?
The official immigration fee for the visa on arrival is 500,000 Indonesian Rupiah, plus payment processing fees if the visa is ordered online via evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Most travelers prefer the more convenient option and order their e-visa on arrival through .
Most popular visa types:
• e-Visa on Arrival (B1): USD 59.00*
• Single-Entry Tourist Visa (C1): USD 150.00*
• Single-Entry Business Visa (C2): USD 205.00*
• Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa (D1): USD 336.00*
• Multiple-Entry Business Visa (D2): USD 397.00*
• Digital Nomad Visa (E33G): USD 805.00*
*No hidden costs: All payment and
immigration fees are included in the price.
How can I apply for an Indonesia visa online?

Register an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id and follow the instructions to apply on your own. Please note that you do so at your own risk, and no support is provided.

Can I buy a visa for Indonesia at the airport?
Yes, it is possible to obtain a visa on arrival at any airport in Indonesia.
To be eligible, you must hold a regular passport issued by a country approved for a visa-on-arrival in Indonesia. Your passport must be valid for at least 180 days from your date of arrival and contain at least one blank page.
Please note that many international flights arrive at approximately the same time, often resulting in long queues at immigration counters. That’s why we strongly recommend applying for an e-Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) in advance.
With an e-VOA, you can use the auto-gate system—simply scan your passport and walk through, while others wait in line at the manual immigration desks.
If you have a temporary passport, we recommend applying for an e-Visa on Arrival before your departure. Some people reported that their airline wouldn't let them board with a temporary passport. Most likely, the airlines don't want to take any risk because, in the past, Indonesia didn't issue visas on arrival for temporary passport holders.
What travel documents do I need for Indonesia?
1. Passport
• Must be valid for at least 180 days from your arrival date in Indonesia.
• Must have at least one blank page for a visa stamp.
2. Visa
• Citizens of around 100 countries can enter Indonesia with a Visa on Arrival (VoA) or an electronic VoA (e-VoA).
• 10 ASEAN countries receive a free visa for up to 30 days: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, East Timor, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
• If you’re staying longer than 60 days or have special travel purposes (like remote work), you have to apply for a visa in advance.
3. Return or onward ticket
• Immigration may ask for proof that you’ll leave Indonesia within the allowed stay period. Airlines can deny boarding, and Indonesian immigration officers can refuse entry if you fail to provide evidence of a valid return or onward ticket.
How long does the Indonesia visa take to get issued?
Indonesian immigration typically issues the e-visa on arrival almost instantly after payment, provided the applicant is eligible and all documents are correctly formatted and uploaded.
However, problems can occur during account creation, document formatting or uploading, or the payment process.
Single-entry visas (such as C1 or C2) are usually approved within 7–10 working days, which can mean up to two weeks. If you apply on your own, it’s not uncommon for applications to get stuck in the system for several weeks without progress or approval.
That’s why we recommend applying through , where experts handle the entire process for you efficiently, correctly, and with full support.
