What is the role of the sponsoring organisation or event in the Artist/Entertainment KITAS application process?

The sponsoring organization or event plays a central and essential role in the Artist/Entertainment KITAS process. They are responsible for providing all official support required for the application, including:

• Sponsorship letter (mandatory)

• Event or performance contract

• Detailed schedule of performances or activities

• Company documents (e.g., NIB, deed, tax documents)

• Justification of why a foreign artist is required

• Coordination with immigration and manpower authorities

• Approval of the RPTKA/IMTA (work permit process)

Without a qualified sponsor, an Artist/Entertainment KITAS cannot be issued.
The sponsor essentially confirms that:

• the artist is invited officially,

• the activities are legitimate,

• all work is authorized and compliant with Indonesian law.
