Do I need to report the Indonesian tax if I have the Investor KITAS?

If you hold an Investor KITAS, you are required to report Indonesian taxes.

Even if:

  • you do not receive a salary in Indonesia, or

  • your income is generated abroad,

you still must submit an annual tax report (SPT Tahunan) as part of your responsibilities as a KITAS holder.

Tax obligations depend on your tax residency status and your source of income, but filing the annual report is mandatory to remain compliant with Indonesian regulations.

We can assist you with understanding your tax obligations and completing the required filings.
