Temporary Residence for Employment (C312) visa is issued to foreign nationals who are to be employed by their sponsor in Indonesia.
Duration of stay
The duration of stay in Indonesia is granted for 6 (six months)/180 days, 1 (one) year or 2 (two) years.
The residence permit derived from this visa can be extended.
Procedure and requirements
A temporary residence visa can be applied for through the online application for visa approval by attaching the following documents:
A letter of guarantee from the guarantor, who is the employer of the foreigner;
Valid and still valid passport of nationality:
At least 12 (twelve) months for those who will work in the Indonesian territory for a period not exceeding 180 (one hundred and eighty) days;
At least 18 (eighteen) months for those who will perform work or stay in the Indonesian territory for a period not exceeding 1 (one) year; or
At least 30 (thirty) months for those who will work or reside in the Indonesian territory for a maximum of 2 (two) years.
Proof that he/she will have living expenses for himself/herself and/or his/her family during his/her stay in the Indonesian territory of at least 2,000 U.S. dollars (two thousand American dollars) or the equivalent.
Two recent color passports measuring 4 cm by 6 cm (four centimeters by six centimeters) with a white background.
A letter of recommendation from the relevant labor authority or other relevant agency.
A letter of recommendation from the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) for applicants who are nationals of certain institutions or officials of the Chamber of Commerce.
Additional requirements
Proof of having received the full dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Visa submission and processing
Sponsors or foreign nationals can apply for a visa on the official website of the Directorate General of Immigration at www.imigrasi.go.id or directly through the online application for visa approval.
The issuance of a multiple entry visa applied for by foreign nationals goes through the following stages:

Processing time
The processing time for a visitor visa is 4 (four) business days after the applicant pays the immigration fee. Sponsors or applicants can check their visas in the online visa approval account and by email.
