Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa (D1)
The Multiple-Entry Visa Indonesia is especially suitable for tourists who visit Indonesia multiple times and stay 60-180 days during each visit. This visa is valid for 1 year, 2 years or 5 years. Within this visa validity you are allowed to leave and re-enter Indonesia as often as you want. With this visa, you receive a 60-day stay permit on each entry into Indonesia. At the end of 2023, the D1 was made extendable, so you can extend each visit for up to 180 days (60 days at a time). A personal visit at the Immigration office is required for all extensions.
The multiple-entry visa for Indonesia is available for all nationalities eligible for C1 visa (former 211A visa).

We guarantee that your visa will be approved — otherwise, you’ll receive a full refund. If you apply for the visa yourself through evisa.imigrasi.go.id, please note that there is a strict no-refund policy. |

We guarantee your visa will be issued on time — before departure or, for last-minute bookings, before arrival — or you’ll get a full refund. When applying via evisa.imigrasi.go.id, there’s no guarantee on processing time, which can lead to serious issues. For e-VOA, it might mean long airport queues; for other visas, you risk being denied boarding if you’re not eligible for Visa on Arrival — possibly forcing you to rebook your flight. |

|
|
|
|
You can request a full refund anytime before we submit your documents to immigration. After submission, refunds are no longer possible due to Indonesia’s strict no-refund policy for visas. You’ll also receive a full refund if your visa is not approved or if we miss the promised delivery time before your arrival. |

We assist you in your native language via email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, live chat, and, in some countries, even by phone. In contrast, many users report difficulties contacting Indonesian immigration through evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Calls often go unanswered, emails receive no reply, and their live chat only provides general information — without the ability to speed up or unblock stalled applications. |

Think of us as your visa insurance — we’re here to ensure your trip goes smoothly. We genuinely care about your experience and do everything we can to make the process easy and error-free. Who needs a D1 Tourist Multiple-Entry Visa Indonesia?
If you are frequently visiting to Indonesia for tourism activities but usually don’t stay longer than a maximum of 60 days at a time, the D1 visa is the right option for you. The visa is totally valid for either 1 year, 2 years or 5 years. Within this period you are allowed to enter and leave Indonesia as often as you want.
In case you’d like to stay longer than 60 days during some visits, it’s possible to extend each visit for 60 days at a time up to a maximum of 180 days. For the extension, a personal visit at the Immigration office is required! You can apply for the extension here.
You can only apply for the D1 visa from abroad (outside Indonesia). If you are already in Indonesia and want to apply for the D1 visa, get in touch with us, so we can guide you to make the application more time efficient.
Pre-Investment Visa
If you are considering investing in Indonesia, you can use the Multiple-Entry Pre-Investment Visa (D12). The visa is valid for 1 or 2 years. You can find more information here.
We have divided the requirements for the visa into two subsections. In the first section, you will see what is required for the application, and in the second what is needed for your flight and entry into Indonesia.
For the visa application you need the following:
-
- Color copy of passport ID page
A scan of the ID page is required. Your passport should be valid for at least 18 months (1-year visa) or 30 months (2-year visa) from the first entry into Indonesia. Proper scan is recommended but if you take a photo instead, make sure all corners are visible and no fingers can be seen. All letters and numbers must be readable. - Passport photo/profile picture
At least 3.5 x 4.5 cm, 100KB and 400x600px. You must be facing straight to the camera, wear formal clothes and the background must be white or light coloured. You shouldn’t be positioned too far or too close to the camera. A selfie is accepted as long as the resolution is high and you are facing straight to the camera. - Personal Bank Statement from the past 3 months with min. USD 2000 balance
Bank statement must include applicant’s name, dates for a period of 3 months and a minimum balance of USD 2000 or equivalent in another currency.
- Color copy of passport ID page
For departure and entry
Please have on hand the following documents for each flight check-in and entry into Indonesia:
- Passport
- Return ticket
In addition to your ticket for the flight to Indonesia, you may be required to show a return or onward ticket when departing for or entering Indonesia. Some airlines may refuse to allow you to board if the ticket is not within 60 days of your entry into Indonesia. - e-Visa
You will receive the e-visa with a barcode from us (please print it out if possible).
1) Add the D1 Visa for Indonesia to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout for payment.
2) After checkout, you will be redirected to a form where you can enter all relevant data for the visa application and upload the required documents.
3) We will check your data and documents and get back to you within one business day via email or WhatsApp.
4) If everything is in order and we have received the visa fee payment, we will upload your visa application into the immigration system. If you have chosen bank transfer as the payment method, we will need a bank transfer receipt from you as sometimes it takes a while for the payment to arrive on our account.
5) We will send you your e-visa by email, with which you can then enter Indonesia. We are still available for you if you have any questions about entry requirements or the like.
Yes, you can purchase multiple visas in one order. Just place all visas (can be the same visa type or different) in the shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
If you don’t have all the documents together when you apply, it is not a problem. Simply send the missing documents via WhatsApp or via email once you have them. You will get the contact details via email after placing the order (please also check your spam).
It is important to know that we can only submit your application once we have received all the required documents and payment from you.
No, the visa application will be done online. We only need scans/pictures of your documents. We just need the required documents as scan/picture via our application form.
To transit through Indonesia during a stopover, you require a Visa for Indonesia if you pass through border control. Even if staying at the airport between flights, a Visa for Indonesia may be required in the following cases:
-
If the transit is more than 24 hours or 8 hours (depending on the airport)
-
If the transit is through Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali:
Bali’s immigration rules are in line with the rest of Indonesia, meaning that passengers who need a visa to enter the country must have one, even if they are only transiting. This applies to Ngurah Rai International Airport, which is the main airport on Bali. Even travelers who stay in the airport terminal must have a Bali transit visa or the Indonesia e-VOA. -
If you are changing terminals for a connecting flight at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta
The completion of the Arrival Card (which includes the customs declaration and health form) is mandatory for all travelers entering Indonesia. This form can be filled out up to 3 days (72 hours) before your time of arrival.
It is also possible to complete this form at the airport in Indonesia. You may have to expect a waiting time.
To apply for a visa to Indonesia, the passport must be valid for at least 6 months on the date of your arrival. For the extension, your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months as well!
For visas that are valid for a longer period (1 year +), 18 months or more may be required. You can read the details under the requirements section of every visa.
Those entering Indonesia with a (replacement) travel document need 12 months of validity when entering, along with a residence permit.
We have not yet had a case where a visa application was rejected. As long as the visa-related requirements are met, the visa should be granted.
Reason for rejection would be, for example, if the customer has been entered into the Indonesian blacklist due to violations of Indonesian law or because there is an outstanding international arrest warrant on the customer.
Failure to submit the customs declaration in your Indonesia arrival card can result in delays, fines, or confiscation of undeclared items. It’s essential to complete the declaration accurately to ensure a smooth entry into Indonesia.
If you have not filled out the form before your trip, you can still fill it out at the airport in Indonesia. However, due to time constraints, we would recommend filling out the form before your trip.
You can submit the required documents later via WhatsApp or email. Keep in mind that we can only proceed once we receive all the required documents and your payment.
If you overstay your visa, you have to pay 1,000,000 IDR (about 65 USD) per day per person in cash. You should plan about 20-30 minutes extra at the airport.
All e-visas can be issued a maximum of 90 days before entry.
Once the visa has been issued, you have 90 days to enter Indonesia. If you do not arrive within 90 days, the visa loses its validity.
Once you have entered Indonesia, the initial visa validity starts.
Once your visa is approved, you have 90 days to enter Indonesia. This means you should not apply for your visa more than three months before your trip. For example, if you plan to visit Bali in mid-April, you should not apply for your visa before mid- or end of January. Please note the visa processing time so that we can issue your visa on time!
Please contact us if you have any questions. Depending on availability, we can also issue various visas more quickly.
You can get a Transit Visa for Indonesia at the border control upon arrival in Indonesia. Most people prefer to have their visas ready before arriving in Indonesia because it often involves queuing in long lines.
Also, visa applications during transit could be denied for various reasons. To avoid any risk for your onward travel, we recommend applying for your Transit visa before arriving in Indonesia. You can check the most suitable visas here: Visa Indonesia.
You have to place your order first. After the purchase, you will receive a digital form where you have to enter personal data and documents. If you do not want to submit the form now, you can also find the form in your email inbox (please also check your spam).
According to Indonesian immigration regulations, passport holders of all countries are eligible for the visas, except the following countries: Kosovo, Bangladesh and Yemen. You can check your eligibility here.
Additionally, we are not able to process so-called Calling Visas for passport holders of the following countries: Afghanistan, Israel, Liberia, Nigeria, North Korea and Somalia.
Indonesia requires a Transit Visa for many travelers passing through the country. Passengers must have a valid visa in order to enter the country for any reason. This includes clearing immigration during transit for:
-
re-check in luggage if you change planes
-
changing terminals
-
staying overnight in a hotel between flights
-
visiting Indonesia for a short period before continuing your journey.
-
if you stay longer than 24h or 8h (depending on the airport) at the airport during transit.
You may have to ask you airlines if you have to re-check in you luggage – we can’t check this for you.
We recommend that you check what visa is required for your passport. To check, just type your country in our Visa Finder. If you are eligible for Visa On Arrival, we recommend ordering the e-Visa On Arrival before your transit in Indonesia. If you are not eligible for Visa On Arrival, you require a Single-Entry Tourist Visa (C1) or a Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa (D1) for multiple entries to Indonesia.
Yes, this is possible as long as the QR code on the form has not yet been scanned.
If you applied independently, simply fill out the Arrival Card completely again.
If you book through us, you can notify us of any changes up to 4 days before entry.
It is important that you present the QR code with the correct information when entering Indonesia.
These are the entry requirements for Indonesia and Bali:
Passport (important)
To enter Bali, you need a passport or a travel document (temporary passport or emergency passport). The passport must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of entry into Bali or at the time of visa extension. Without a valid passport, you cannot enter the country.
Visa
You need a visa to enter Bali. For shorter trips, you can buy this directly at the airport, but we recommend applying for your visa in advance, as it will save you time upon arrival.
Outbound ticket
When checking in for your flight to Bali, you may be asked to provide proof of a return or onward ticket from Indonesia. If you cannot present an outbound ticket, you will be denied entry.
All Indonesia Arrival Card
Since September 1, 2025, the All Indonesia Arrival Card has been introduced. This digital arrival card replaces the previous customs and health declaration forms. You can add the Arrival Card when booking with us, or alternatively, you can fill it out yourself, no earlier than 72 hours before arrival in Indonesia.
Love Bali Tourist Tax (for Bali only)
A tourism levy has been introduced for Bali. The fee is approximately 9 euros (150,000 IDR). You can pay the tax online in advance via this website, but credit card payments often fail. The tax can also be paid directly at the airport.
Yes, the C1 Tourist Single-Entry Visa and D1 Tourist Multiple-Entry Visa can be applied for children. However, each family member (including children and babies) needs their own visa. The visa fee for children and babies is the same.
No, since July 3rd 2023, vaccination proof against COVID-19 is no longer required in order to apply for a visa for Indonesia. Other vaccinations are also not required for the visa or entry to Indonesia.
Yes, every person traveling to Indonesia needs a visa. There are no exceptions – not even for children or senior citizens.
In case you are not sure about the correct type of visa: On our homepage you will find a visa finder that will tell you within a few seconds which visa is best for you and your fellow travelers.
If there’s only an underaged person applying for the visa, then it is fine to provide father’s/mother’s bank statement and proof that they are the parent. If you have your own bank account with more than 2000 USD or equivalent you can use this as well.
The visa is sent by us as a PDF file with a QR code to your email or WhatsApp when requested. Normally, the visa is connected to your passport and you do not need the printed document. But to be on the safe side, we recommend printing the document.
If a family applies for a Single-Entry Visa or Multiple-Entry Visa at the same time, you can provide the bank statements from one person and upload this proof to all other application forms.
We require the following documents for the D1 visa application:
-
Color copy of passport ID page
A scan of the ID page is required. Your passport should be valid for at least 18 months (1-year visa) or 30 months (2-year visa) from the first entry into Indonesia. Proper scan is recommended but if you take a photo instead, make sure all corners are visible and no fingers can be seen. All letters and numbers must be readable.
-
Passport photo/profile picture
You must be facing straight to the camera, wear formal clothes and the background must be white or light colored. A selfie is accepted as long as the resolution is high and you are facing straight to the camera.
-
Personal Bank Statement from the past 3 months with min. USD 2000 balance
Bank statement must include applicant’s name, dates for a period of 3 months and a minimum balance of USD 2000 or equivalent in another currency.

Thanks to all Visa Indonesia Team for their wonderful service.
Second time user of this service. Amazed by the swift response time and friendliness of the team. In fact I wonder if they ever sleep. Needless to say, I received my visa in record time and would certainly use Visa Indonesia for my third visit to Indonesia in the future.
