e-Visa On Arrival Indonesia
Do you want to enter Bali or Indonesia and apply for your Visa On Arrival in advance?
The e-Visa on Arrival allows travel for tourism, visiting family or friends, business activities such as meetings or signing contracts, site visits to facilities like factories or offices, and receiving medical treatment or other healthcare services.
You have the option to create an account on the immigration portal (evisa.imigrasi.go.id) and apply there independently, or you can save yourself the hassle and obtain your e-Visa On Arrival Indonesia (short e-VOA) with our assistance (application must be done at least 48 hours before your flight). Reasons for obtaining the eVOA can be found in the “Description” tab below. If you require the e-Visa On Arrival within the next 2-3 working days, please let us know, and we will strive to provide it as quickly as possible. Please note that we can only process orders on working days. Before placing an order, please verify that you hold a passport from a country eligible for a visa on arrival.
Important: As of June 1, 2025, a personal visit to the Immigration office is required for all extension applications.

We guarantee that your visa will be approved — otherwise, you’ll receive a full refund. If you apply for the visa yourself through evisa.imigrasi.go.id, please note that there is a strict no-refund policy. |

|
We guarantee your visa will be issued on time — before departure or, for last-minute bookings, before arrival — or you’ll get a full refund. When applying via evisa.imigrasi.go.id, there’s no guarantee on processing time, which can lead to serious issues. For e-VOA, it might mean long airport queues; for other visas, you risk being denied boarding if you’re not eligible for Visa on Arrival — possibly forcing you to rebook your flight. |

|
|
|
|
|
You can request a full refund anytime before we submit your documents to immigration. After submission, refunds are no longer possible due to Indonesia’s strict no-refund policy for visas. You’ll also receive a full refund if your visa is not approved or if we miss the promised delivery time before your arrival. |

Our dedicated support team operates across multiple countries and time zones — almost around the clock. We assist you in your native language via email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, live chat, and, in some countries, even by phone. In contrast, many users report difficulties contacting Indonesian immigration through evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Calls often go unanswered, emails receive no reply, and their live chat only provides general information — without the ability to speed up or unblock stalled applications. |

Think of us as your visa insurance — we’re here to ensure your trip goes smoothly. We genuinely care about your experience and do everything we can to make the process easy and error-free. This is very different from applying via evisa.imigrasi.go.id, where no one is accountable if you’re denied boarding or entry due to a missing visa or mistakes like a wrong date of birth, place of birth, or a typo in your name. |

With us, you can handle your visa anytime — even when Indonesian immigration is closed or not accepting applications. We’ll check, format, and prepare your documents in advance, so your application is ready to go the moment submissions reopen. Do you want to enter Bali or Indonesia and apply for your Visa On Arrival in advance?
The e-Visa on Arrival allows you:
- Tourism: sightseeing, leisure travel, or vacations
- Visiting family or friends
- Business purposes: attending meetings, negotiations, or signing contracts
- Site visits: visiting production sites, mines, offices, or factories
- Medical reasons: receiving treatment or accessing other healthcare services
You have the option to create an account on the immigration portal (evisa.imigrasi.go.id) and apply independently there, or you can save yourself the hassle and obtain your e-Visa On Arrival (e-VOA) with our assistance.
The main reasons why people choose our service are the following:
- A more straightforward application process with no need for registering for yet another account and filling out more forms.
- Plan to stay longer than 30 days and need a visa extension for another 30 days. With our service, you can order a visa extension together with your e-visa upon arrival.
- Option to choose another payment method than a credit card, such as bank transfer or PayPal.
- Issues with the immigration website, including no time to address them, such as problems with account creation (the website is down or not functioning correctly, confirmation emails do not arrive, password resets are not working, etc.).
In addition to some personal details and data from the passport, we need the first address in Indonesia and the following documents:
1. Color scan of the whole passport ID page
Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia and have at least one blank page left. A proper scan is recommended, but if you take a photo of the document, ensure that all corners are visible and no fingers are visible.
2. Passport photo/profile picture (JPG/JPEG/PNG format)
White or single-color background and minimum size of 200 KB.
3. Return or Onward Ticket
Proof of an exit ticket from Indonesia. Your flight reservation or booking confirmation for departure is sufficient.
You must submit all data and documents in our application form. You will receive access immediately after your booking.
- Purchase the e-Visa On Arrival by adding it to your shopping cart and proceeding to checkout.
- After checkout, you will receive a link to the form where you can enter your data and required documents.
- We will review your application and get back to you if any information is missing.
- Once your e-Visa On Arrival is granted, one of our staff members will contact you via WhatsApp or email and send you your e-Visa On Arrival as a PDF.
Visa Extension
If you order a visa extension together with your e-Visa On Arrival, we will handle the extension process before your first 30 days in Indonesia are up. A personal visit is required for the visa extension. We will inform you of the date and time for your Immigration appointment.
We can currently assist you with extensions in the following locations: Bali (Jimbaran, Denpasar, Singaraja), Lombok (Mataram), and Jakarta. Would you like to extend your stay in another location in Indonesia? Simply contact us via chat (bottom right) and we will check whether we can assist you. Please note that additional costs may apply outside the locations mentioned above.
The e-Visa on Arrival is only convertible to KITAS. You have to apply for the Bridging Visa about 2 weeks before your visa expires. Once you have obtained the Bridging Visa, you convert this to a KITAS.
It is not possible to convert the Visa on Arrival to any other visa type except KITAS. If you need another visa, you must first leave the country and then apply for a new visa.
Yes, you can purchase multiple visas in one order. Just place all visas (can be the same visa type or different) in the shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
If you don’t have all the documents together when you apply, it is not a problem. Simply send the missing documents via WhatsApp or via email once you have them. You will get the contact details via email after placing the order (please also check your spam).
It is important to know that we can only submit your application once we have received all the required documents and payment from you.
No, the visa application will be done online. We only need scans/pictures of your documents. We just need the required documents as scan/picture via our application form.
To transit through Indonesia during a stopover, you require a Visa for Indonesia if you pass through border control. Even if staying at the airport between flights, a Visa for Indonesia may be required in the following cases:
-
If the transit is more than 24 hours or 8 hours (depending on the airport)
-
If the transit is through Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali:
Bali’s immigration rules are in line with the rest of Indonesia, meaning that passengers who need a visa to enter the country must have one, even if they are only transiting. This applies to Ngurah Rai International Airport, which is the main airport on Bali. Even travelers who stay in the airport terminal must have a Bali transit visa or the Indonesia e-VOA. -
If you are changing terminals for a connecting flight at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta
The completion of the Arrival Card (which includes the customs declaration and health form) is mandatory for all travelers entering Indonesia. This form can be filled out up to 3 days (72 hours) before your time of arrival.
It is also possible to complete this form at the airport in Indonesia. You may have to expect a waiting time.
To apply for a visa to Indonesia, the passport must be valid for at least 6 months on the date of your arrival. For the extension, your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months as well!
For visas that are valid for a longer period (1 year +), 18 months or more may be required. You can read the details under the requirements section of every visa.
Those entering Indonesia with a (replacement) travel document need 12 months of validity when entering, along with a residence permit.
We have not yet had a case where a visa application was rejected. As long as the visa-related requirements are met, the visa should be granted.
Reason for rejection would be, for example, if the customer has been entered into the Indonesian blacklist due to violations of Indonesian law or because there is an outstanding international arrest warrant on the customer.
Failure to submit the customs declaration in your Indonesia arrival card can result in delays, fines, or confiscation of undeclared items. It’s essential to complete the declaration accurately to ensure a smooth entry into Indonesia.
If you have not filled out the form before your trip, you can still fill it out at the airport in Indonesia. However, due to time constraints, we would recommend filling out the form before your trip.
You can submit the required documents later via WhatsApp or email. Keep in mind that we can only proceed once we receive all the required documents and your payment.
If you overstay your visa, you have to pay 1,000,000 IDR (about 65 USD) per day per person in cash. You should plan about 20-30 minutes extra at the airport.
All e-visas can be issued a maximum of 90 days before entry.
Once the visa has been issued, you have 90 days to enter Indonesia. If you do not arrive within 90 days, the visa loses its validity.
Once you have entered Indonesia, the initial visa validity starts.
Once your visa is approved, you have 90 days to enter Indonesia. This means you should not apply for your visa more than three months before your trip. For example, if you plan to visit Bali in mid-April, you should not apply for your visa before mid- or end of January. Please note the visa processing time so that we can issue your visa on time!
Please contact us if you have any questions. Depending on availability, we can also issue various visas more quickly.
You can get a Transit Visa for Indonesia at the border control upon arrival in Indonesia. Most people prefer to have their visas ready before arriving in Indonesia because it often involves queuing in long lines.
Also, visa applications during transit could be denied for various reasons. To avoid any risk for your onward travel, we recommend applying for your Transit visa before arriving in Indonesia. You can check the most suitable visas here: Visa Indonesia.
You have to place your order first. After the purchase, you will receive a digital form where you have to enter personal data and documents. If you do not want to submit the form now, you can also find the form in your email inbox (please also check your spam).
Indonesia requires a Transit Visa for many travelers passing through the country. Passengers must have a valid visa in order to enter the country for any reason. This includes clearing immigration during transit for:
-
re-check in luggage if you change planes
-
changing terminals
-
staying overnight in a hotel between flights
-
visiting Indonesia for a short period before continuing your journey.
-
if you stay longer than 24h or 8h (depending on the airport) at the airport during transit.
You may have to ask you airlines if you have to re-check in you luggage – we can’t check this for you.
We recommend that you check what visa is required for your passport. To check, just type your country in our Visa Finder. If you are eligible for Visa On Arrival, we recommend ordering the e-Visa On Arrival before your transit in Indonesia. If you are not eligible for Visa On Arrival, you require a Single-Entry Tourist Visa (C1) or a Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa (D1) for multiple entries to Indonesia.
Yes, this is possible as long as the QR code on the form has not yet been scanned.
If you applied independently, simply fill out the Arrival Card completely again.
If you book through us, you can notify us of any changes up to 4 days before entry.
It is important that you present the QR code with the correct information when entering Indonesia.
These are the entry requirements for Indonesia and Bali:
Passport (important)
To enter Bali, you need a passport or a travel document (temporary passport or emergency passport). The passport must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of entry into Bali or at the time of visa extension. Without a valid passport, you cannot enter the country.
Visa
You need a visa to enter Bali. For shorter trips, you can buy this directly at the airport, but we recommend applying for your visa in advance, as it will save you time upon arrival.
Outbound ticket
When checking in for your flight to Bali, you may be asked to provide proof of a return or onward ticket from Indonesia. If you cannot present an outbound ticket, you will be denied entry.
All Indonesia Arrival Card
Since September 1, 2025, the All Indonesia Arrival Card has been introduced. This digital arrival card replaces the previous customs and health declaration forms. You can add the Arrival Card when booking with us, or alternatively, you can fill it out yourself, no earlier than 72 hours before arrival in Indonesia.
Love Bali Tourist Tax (for Bali only)
A tourism levy has been introduced for Bali. The fee is approximately 9 euros (150,000 IDR). You can pay the tax online in advance via this website, but credit card payments often fail. The tax can also be paid directly at the airport.
No, since July 3rd 2023, vaccination proof against COVID-19 is no longer required in order to apply for a visa for Indonesia. Other vaccinations are also not required for the visa or entry to Indonesia.
Yes, every person traveling to Indonesia needs a visa. There are no exceptions – not even for children or senior citizens.
In case you are not sure about the correct type of visa: On our homepage you will find a visa finder that will tell you within a few seconds which visa is best for you and your fellow travelers.
No, the only advantage is that you only have to make one booking/payment if you book everything together directly.
The visa is sent by us as a PDF file with a QR code to your email or WhatsApp when requested. Normally, the visa is connected to your passport and you do not need the printed document. But to be on the safe side, we recommend printing the document.
Same as the Visa on Arrival that can be purchased at the airport is the e-Visa on Arrival is valid for 30 days with the option to extend for another 30 days.
As we check all your data for accuracy, we cannot offer immediate issuance. In general, the e-Visa on Arrival is issued within a few working days. The processing may take longer during the high season.
Please note that the visa can only be processed once we have received all your data (application form) and the payment. Working days always refer to Monday – Friday in the time zone of Bali (WITA).
Yes, since mid-April 2025 is it possible to apply for the e-Visa on Arrival. Before, a C1 visa was required.
If you stay less than 60 days, you can use the e-Visa on Arrival. For a stay longer than 60 days, you need the C1 visa.
As this rule is quite new, may not every airline knows the changes.
This situation happens more often than you might think: your flight is booked, but your C1 visa still hasn’t been issued. Many people assume that the visa will automatically “activate” once it is approved – but that is not the case.
If you enter Indonesia using an e-VOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival) because your C1 visa wasn’t issued yet, the e-VOA becomes your active entry permit, not the C1 visa.
Even if your C1 visa is approved shortly after you arrive, it cannot be activated retroactively. To activate the C1 visa, you must leave Indonesia and then re-enter using the C1 visa.
What happens if you stay longer because you thought the C1 visa would apply automatically?
In that case, your stay counts as an overstay. This means you remain in the country longer than the visa you actually used for entry allows.
An overstay in Indonesia results in a penalty of 1,000,000 IDR per day, and longer overstays can even lead to entry bans or complications with future visa applications.
So always double-check which visa is truly active and how long it is valid.
What can you do if your C1 visa is not ready yet, but you still need to travel?
If you need to travel before your C1 visa is issued, we recommend:
-
Enter Indonesia using an e-VOA (if you are eligible for this visa) so you can proceed with your trip.
-
After arriving, check:
-
whether your e-VOA can be extended for a stay of up to 60 days, or
-
whether you will need to leave the country briefly (e.g., via Singapore or Malaysia) and re-enter to activate your C1 visa once it is approved.
-
Your C1 visa only becomes active once you enter Indonesia with that specific visa.
If you first enter with an e-VOA, the C1 visa remains inactive until you exit and re-enter – or it expires unused if it is not activated within 90 days of issuance.
e-Visa on Arrival
The e-Visa on Arrival can be extended by yourself. For the extension, at least one visit at the immigration office is required.
Single-Entry Visa (C1, C2, C6, …), Multiple-Entry Visa (D1, D2, D12) and KITAS
Unfortunately, it is not possible to extend these visas by yourself because you need a sponsor for the extension. We as a visa agency, can be your sponsor. For the extension(s) is a personal visit at the immigration office is required.

Keep in mind that we require the payment before we can submit your application to immigration because we have to pay the fee when submitting your application.
You have the option to pay directly at checkout by debit/credit card, PayPal or several other payment options. You can also choose bank transfer.
For bank transfers, it takes a few days until we see your transfer in our account. You are welcome to send us the receipt or a screenshot of the transfer so that we can start the process more quickly.
