Think of us as your visa insurance — we’re here to ensure your trip goes smoothly. We genuinely care about your experience and do everything we can to make the process easy and error-free. This is very different from applying via evisa.imigrasi.go.id, where no one is accountable if you’re denied boarding or entry due to a missing visa or mistakes like a wrong date of birth, place of birth, or a typo in your name. |

Indonesia recently introduced the Bridging Visa (also called Transition Visa). This visa aims to provide convenience for tourists and foreign nationals already in Indonesia, allowing them to extend their stay in emergencies or change their current visa to KITAS without leaving the country.
What is the Bridging Visa?
- Changing the type of visa
Switching from Visa on Arrival, C-Visa, or D-Visa to a KITAS without having to leave Indonesia. - Extending your stay in case of an emergency
If an emergency occurs, the Bridging Visa can be used to extend your stay.
Who Can Apply for the Bridging Visa?
- Holders of Visa on Arrival, C-Visa, or D-Visa
If you plan to apply for a KITAS, you can do so with the help of the Bridging Visa. - Emergency cases
If an emergency (such as illness, natural disaster, etc.) occurs, you can extend your visa for 60 days using the Bridging Visa.
Important: You can only change your visa to a KITAS using the Bridging Visa. It is not possible to switch, for example, from a Visa on Arrival to a C1 Visa.
In addition to the personal information and details from your passport, you will need the following documents:
Color Copy of Passport ID Page
A clear scan is recommended, but if you take a photo, ensure that all corners are visible and that no fingers are in the frame. Your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months.
Current Stay Permit (the last extension permit)
You need to show a valid stay permit. For the visa on arrival it would be the permit of your extension.
Statement Letter (Form E-02)
You need to submit a form that declares why you need the Bridging Visa. Download here.
- Add the Bridging Visa for Indonesia to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout for payment.
- After checkout, you will be redirected to a form where you can enter all relevant data for the visa application and upload the required documents.
- We will check your data and documents and get back to you within one business day via email or WhatsApp.
- Once we receive all the required data and your visa fee payment, we will upload the data into the immigration system. If you have chosen bank transfer as the payment method, we will need a bank transfer receipt from you, as sometimes it takes a while for the money to show up on our account.
- We will send you your e-visa by email. We are still available for you if you have any questions about entry requirements or the like.
Important: You can only change your visa to a KITAS using the Bridging Visa. It is not possible to switch, for example, from a Visa on Arrival to a C1 Visa.
Yes, you can purchase multiple visas in one order. Just place all visas (can be the same visa type or different) in the shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
If you don’t have all the documents together when you apply, it is not a problem. Simply send the missing documents via WhatsApp or via email once you have them. You will get the contact details via email after placing the order (please also check your spam).
It is important to know that we can only submit your application once we have received all the required documents and payment from you.
No, the visa application will be done online. We only need scans/pictures of your documents. We just need the required documents as scan/picture via our application form.
To apply for a visa to Indonesia, the passport must be valid for at least 6 months on the date of your arrival. For the extension, your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months as well!
For visas that are valid for a longer period (1 year +), 18 months or more may be required. You can read the details under the requirements section of every visa.
Those entering Indonesia with a (replacement) travel document need 12 months of validity when entering, along with a residence permit.
You can submit the required documents later via WhatsApp or email. Keep in mind that we can only proceed once we receive all the required documents and your payment.
If you overstay your visa, you have to pay 1,000,000 IDR (about 65 USD) per day per person in cash. You should plan about 20-30 minutes extra at the airport.
Once your visa is approved, you have 90 days to enter Indonesia. This means you should not apply for your visa more than three months before your trip. For example, if you plan to visit Bali in mid-April, you should not apply for your visa before mid- or end of January. Please note the visa processing time so that we can issue your visa on time!
Please contact us if you have any questions. Depending on availability, we can also issue various visas more quickly.
You have to place your order first. After the purchase, you will receive a digital form where you have to enter personal data and documents. If you do not want to submit the form now, you can also find the form in your email inbox (please also check your spam).
No, since July 3rd 2023, vaccination proof against COVID-19 is no longer required in order to apply for a visa for Indonesia. Other vaccinations are also not required for the visa or entry to Indonesia.
Yes, every person traveling to Indonesia needs a visa. There are no exceptions – not even for children or senior citizens.
In case you are not sure about the correct type of visa: On our homepage you will find a visa finder that will tell you within a few seconds which visa is best for you and your fellow travelers.
If you apply for a Bridging Visa, our company will become your sponsor when you use the visa.
Example: You had a (self-sponsored) e-Visa On Arrival. Your guarantor changes to our company when you use the Bridging Visa. Your sponsor might change again if you opt for a Spouse Visa or Work Visa. The guarantor of the Spouse Visa is the Indonesian partner. The company employing you will be your new guarantor for a work visa.
We offer several payment options like Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and bank transfers (for amounts over 2,000,000 IDR). You’ll always have an easy way to pay.
