Visa On Arrival (VOA)

VOA stands for “Visa on Arrival.” It is a type of visa that allows eligible foreign nationals to enter Indonesia for tourism, business, or social-cultural purposes. The VOA is obtained upon arrival at designated entry points in Indonesia, such as airports and seaports. The VOA is typically available for citizens of certain countries that have established reciprocal agreements with Indonesia. It allows for a short-term stay in the country without the need to obtain a visa in advance from an Indonesian embassy or consulate. The VOA is usually granted for a maximum stay of 30 days and can be extended for an additional 30 days. It’s important to note that the VOA can’t be converted into other types of visas or permits, such as work permits or long-term stay permits. To obtain a VOA, eligible foreign nationals must meet certain requirements, such as having a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining, a return or onward ticket, and sufficient funds to cover their stay in Indonesia.
