Surat Keterangan Lapor Diri (SKLD)

SKLD (Surat Keterangan Lapor Diri/ Certificate of Reporting Presence) is a form that foreign nationals are required to complete and submit to the local immigration office within 30 days of their arrival in Indonesia. The SKLD serves as a means for foreign nationals to report their presence and provide essential information to the Indonesian immigration authorities. It is a mandatory requirement to ensure compliance with immigration regulations and to maintain accurate records of foreign nationals residing in the country. It includes details such as the foreign national’s personal information (name, nationality, passport number), date and place of arrival in Indonesia, intended address of residence, and purpose of stay (such as tourism, work, or study). It is important to note that failure to submit the SKLD within the designated timeframe may result in penalties or complications with future immigration processes. It is advisable for foreign nationals arriving in Indonesia to assistance from a professional immigration service provider to ensure compliance with the reporting obligations.
