AHU stands for “Administrasi Hukum Umum” (Endorsement from Minister of Justice Jakarta. AHU is a crucial administrative step for foreign individuals and companies operating in Indonesia. The process of obtaining an AHU endorsement typically involves having the documents notarized by a public notary and then submitted to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Jakarta for further validation and endorsement.  In some cases, foreign individuals seeking immigration-related permits or documents, such as a KITAS (Limited Stay Permit), may require certain legal documents to be endorsed by the Minister of Justice to support their applications.
