What is a KITAP in Indonesia?

A KITAP (Kartu Izin Tinggal Tetap) is Indonesia’s permanent stay permit for foreigners. It allows long-term residency and offers more stability than a temporary KITAS. It’s only possible to get a KITAP once you hold a KITAS for multiple years.
