MERP ile EPO arasındaki fark nedir?

Although both MERP and EPO relate to exiting Indonesia, they serve very different purposes:

MERP – Multiple Exit and Re-entry Permit

A MERP allows foreigners holding a stay permit (e.g., KITAS veya KITAP) to:

• Endonezya'dan ayrılmakve

• re-enter while their stay permit remains valid.

MERP olmadan, oturma izniniz geçersiz as soon as you exit the country.

MERP = You leave and come back.

EPO – Exit Permit Only

Bir EPO is used when you:

• permanently leave Indonesiaveya

• terminate your KITAS/KITAP.

Once the EPO is issued, your stay permit is officially closed, and you must leave Indonesia. After an EPO, you cannot re-enter using the old permit — you must apply for a new visa.

EPO = You leave and do NOT come back under the same permit.
