The e-Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) can only be converted into a KITAS (temporary stay permit).
To start this process, you must apply for a Merapatkan Visa approximately 2 weeks before your e-VOA expires.
Once the Bridging Visa is approved, it will then be converted into your KITAS.
It is not possible to convert the e-VOA into any other visa type (such as C1, D1, etc.).
If you need a different visa, you must:
-
Leave Indonesia, and
-
Apply for the new visa from outside the country,
-
Wait outside of Indonesia until your new visa is ready,
-
Enter Indonesia once your new visa is issued.
