FAQ Overview

Visa types

What visa do I need?

In order to enter Indonesia, you will need a visa. If you are holding a passport from a country that is eligible for Visa On Arrival, come **for tourism** and are planning to **stay less than 60 days** in Indonesia, you can purchase a Visa On Arrival upon arrival at the airport.

If you are holding a passport from a country that is not on the Visa On Arrival list or your purpose of visit is other than tourism (business, social work, education, family visit, seminar, …) or you are planning on staying longer than 60 days in Indonesia, you need a B211A visa.

What is the difference between Visa On Arrival and B211A?

B211A Visit Visa

How to apply for B211A Visit Visa?

In oder to apply for a B211A Visit Visa, go to B211A Visit Visa page and follow the checkout instructions.

What documents are needed for the application?

  • Color copy of passport (front cover + ID page). Passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months when entering Indonesia
  • Passport photo / selfie (white background)
  • International health/travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage (for your entire stay in Indonesia)
  • Vaccination certificate (min. 2 vaccinations against COVID-19 required for entry for all persons aged 18 and over)
