Starting from the Uluwatu Temple on the edge of the cliff, to the Tanah Lot temple which is about 30 minutes away from Canggu, the Tampak Siring Temple which is part of the Unesco World Heritage Site to the Besakih Temple, which is the largest and most important Temple on Bali.

In Bali a lot of rice is grown. This is often grown in so-called rice terraces, which are not only practical for irrigation, but also look very beautiful. The most famous rice terraces are in Tegalalang and Jatiluwih. Especially the Tegalalang rice terraces are very popular among tourists. If you are looking for remote rice terraces, the best way is to drive around the islands on your scooter. You will find rice terraces everywhere outside the villages.

1) Climb an active volcano

Mount Batur, which is located in the northern part of Bali, is definitely worth a visit. There are many tour providers that will take you to the volcano. Right nearby is Mount Agung with the highest point of Bali at 3142 meters.
